To tailor and optimize our communications, we create a profile of you. These are based on your profession, therapeutic area and specialty you are working in and the interactions on our website and used to tailor and optimize our communications and interactions with you.
An automated decision making (e.g., in the EU Art. 22 GDPR) occurs to fulfill our obligation to not market the use of medical products for human use to the general public. We therefore verify if you are a healthcare professional. This is done based on information obtained from official publicly available sources and/or external data brokers. The processing is necessary for purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data (e.g., in the EU Art. 6.1 f GDPR).
