Tube feeding may be recommended when eating and drinking cannot safely or adequately meet a person’s nutritional needs. It can provide some or all of the nutrition required, either temporarily or as part of a longer-term nutrition plan.

The Fresubin range is designed to suit a variety of nutritional needs and diagnoses. Products include drinks with a protein content of less than 20% of the energy value as well as drinks with a protein content of at least 20% of the energy value. Fresubin's products have been tailored to suit children and adults, including oncology patients, those with malabsorption, kidney insufficiencies, liver insufficiencies, impaired glucose metabolism or dysphagia.
