Giving Sets
for convenient nutrition transfer
Giving Sets - the right fit matters
Enteral Giving Sets are used to transfer the enteral nutrition or liquids from a feeding container to an enteral feeding tube implanted into the patient. There are several individual routes for the delivery of enteral feeds depending on your patient’s needs. With the wide variety of Fresenius Kabi’s Giving Sets you will find the right products for the best individual route.
Giving Sets for pump feeding with the Amika pump
Use of the Amika pump requires dedicated Giving Sets. Only with these specific sets a good compatibility and flow rate be ensured with the pump. You can recognise such Giving Sets by the purple Amika Tube clamp.
-
The pump clamp can be positioned along the length of the Giving Set, resulting in more freedom of movement for the patient as well as the caregiver.
-
No bulky pump segment is required.
- Different kinds of containers can be attached
- A drip chamber allows you to see the flow of the nutrition
- A dedicated patented pump clamp ensures best compatibility with the Amika feeding pump
- The ENFit connector on the distal end is the enteral standard for a safe connection
- An ENFit syringe can be attached to the 3-way-stopcock without disconnecting the set from the feeding
Giving Sets for gravity-assisted feeding
Nutrition can also be delivered without a pump for gastric feeding of non-critical patients with average flow rates. The flow regulation has to be set and controlled manually by adjusting a roller clamp.
